Easy firmware updatesThe Air 10s has been equipped with a Micro SD card slot that allows users to easily update the device by themselves. The Micro SD card slot will be included as standard on all future strobes and commanders.
Full control at a distanceNow with an extended maximum range of 100 metres, this device can be used at a much greater distance than older models. TTL mode, high speed sync up to 1/8000s, rear curtain sync and other flash functionality can all be set from the Commander Air 10s. Keep complete control, even at a distance.
Exposure controlIn TTL mode, you can adjust and fine-tune your exposure in 1/3 EV increments, right the way down to 1/256 – great for high-sensitivity shoots.
Instant set upWith its TTL memory function, the Air 10s memorises the exposure during a TTL mode shoot and allows for a one-touch switch to manual mode. Save time during setup as the device takes the TTL exposure data, calculates the individual output, and transforms the exposure data into manual mode for you to make your final tweaks.
Crossover controlWith the Air 10s, you maintain complete control of all versions of your NAS strobes, whatever fit they are designed for. As long as your Commander is for the same brand as your camera, it can be used to control any version of NAS-compatible flashgun. For example, a photographer who has recently switched from Sony to Canon can use their Canon Commander Air 10s to control their NAS-ready Sony flashguns, and still retain use of all the functions including TTL.
Open modeWith the new open mode, multiple Air 10s units can be paired with the same group of strobes, eliminating the need to re-pair devices. Even if you need to change cameras mid-shoot, the settings are retained as the shoot continues, allowing multiple cameras and commanders to share the same group of NAS strobes.
The Air 10s is an advanced multi mode flash commander that can be used to quickly and seamlessly control a large group of flashes, whether you’re in a dark studio or a bright outdoor setting. Available for Fujifilm, Micro Four Thirds, Sony, Canon and Nikon cameras, the Air 10s uses the same clear, easy-to use dial layout and colour LCD display that has been so popular in the rest of the Nissin Air System.
Designed to work with the NAS-ready i60A and Di700A, as well as any flashguns with strobe capability connected to a Receiver Air R, this innovative wireless trigger has a number of advanced features.
NISSIN i60A FLASHGUN
Weighing in at just 300g and less than 4.5 inches high, this flashgun has a guide number of 60, making it the smallest and lightest in the high power portable flash market sector. Its advanced engineering and ground-breaking design resulted in the Nissin i60A winning the title of ‘Best Portable Flash’ at the prestigious TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) Awards 2016.
The 2.4GHz wireless i60A is designed for TTL, and is fully compatible with the Nissin Air System.
The zoom range can be adjusted automatically or manually from 24-200mm and the unit comes complete with a built-in diffusor that gives 16mm lens coverage. A soft box specially designed for the flash head is included to soften light output and reduce shadows. The inbuilt bounce card can also be extended or retracted while the soft box is in place. The i60A has a nine-level LED video light function, with a running time of up to 3.5 hours.
This flashgun operates on 4 AA batteries (not included) and can be connected to an external power source (not included) to reduce the flash cycle time during constant high power output.
