This limited edition set of 2 FDCs commemorates the return of Hong Kong to China. The British Hong Kong cover is postmarked 30 June 1997, and franked with Sc# 792, the last stamp (souvenir sheet) issued by British Hong Kong. The second in the set is postmarked 1 July 1997 and franked with Hong Kong Sc# 793-798 (first issues of Hong Kong under China) and China Sc# 2774A-C.  These FDCs measure 8-1/2 X 11" and had a limited issue of 9,500, of which #1511, #1512,  #1115 and #1612 are available for purchase. Comes in plastic protective cover, in excellent condition.
