This beautiful basket woven animal measures 10 1/8" high, 12 1/2" long and 6 3/4" deep.

It is made from woven basketry material and wood with glass eyes.

It is entirely hand made and retains the original paper label on bottom:

    ZHE JIANG  HANDICRAFTS     MADE IN THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA

Practically this animal is a box with lid on back of ram.

It is rigid as it is supposed to be and weighs about 2 1/2 pounds.

These Chinese animals were made in a variety of mostly animal forms by this company and this ram is one of the most striking and desirable 

This ram has been well cared for and is in very good vintage condition with no negative condition issues.
