Black Australian Opal doublet gemstone set in gold-plated ornamental vintage tie pin. Beautiful pattern and play of colour in various light conditions.

Opal doublets are made by adhering a slim piece of genuine opal to a black backing. The dark base enhances the naturally occurring colour and pattern. A quartz crystal cap is then adhered to the top of the opal protecting and magnifying it.

Opal measures 12mm, chain measures 45mm.
