Civil War token 45/332a. patriotic type, R-1, copper. The obverse shows Liberty facing right wearing a conical hat. Above is "LIBERTY", and below is the date, 1863. In front and back of Liberty there are six stars on each side, at the border. On the reverse, is a full circle, closed wreath, with "OUR ARMY", and a star at the top, The obverse shows attractive, subdued toning, that doesn't show up well when the piece is in a holder, but when it is out so the light comes across it, shows some blue, gold, red, color. There is a small scrape from the "T" in "LIBERTY", to the edge of the hat, The reverse shows some subdued toning also, but not with the color of the obverse. It is mostly dark, reddish brown around the wreath and at the border, and shades or brown otherwise.
