Note:  Packing these properly to ensure your best chance of getting an undamaged kit costs a bit more than base sh cost.  That is reflected in the s/h number.  That said, I guarantee only to attempt to make it bullet proof, can't offer any guarantees.  This recently sold and WAS damaged in shipping.  It has been reconstructed and you cannot tell where the damage was (glued parts came off during what was apparently a very rough shipment).  I insist on insuring these for this very reason.  No matter how well packed, the abusive nature of the shipping coupled with the fragile nature of the item demands that it be fully insured.

The s/h cost reflects the charge for additional handling and packing to minimize the potential of damage.  Note:  I am not guaranteeing that it will NOT be damaged, only that we are attempting to pack in such a way as to minimize risk.  That said, if it is damaged in shipment your first line of action is with the shipper, but we will work with you in the event of damage to ensure you are happy with the end result even if we need to rebuild and reship.  We have by this point sold in excess of 500 built kits.  Our success rate, even with large kits such as this, is very high (90% or better), but you, as a purchaser must enter into this transaction recognizing that no matter how well packed, shipping damage, minor or major is a potential issue and be prepared to work with us to address any eventual issues.
