Il
Filadelfo o Fiore d’Angelo, è una pianta PERENNE arbustiva decidua
(perde le foglie in inverno) coltivata in giardino a scopo
ornamentale.
ovale riccamente innervate e numerosi fiori bianchi molo
profumati.
I
colori.
Coltivazione
del Filadelfo/Cultivation of the Filadelfio
Esposizione/Exposure:
ambientali cresce bene in posizioni soleggiate o
semiombrose.
Terreno/Ground:
letame/concime in picccola misura. Per favorire la crescita della
pianta in primavera consigliamo l'uso del concime organico.
Consigliamo
la messa a dimora in autunno o inizio
primavera
Irrigare
abbondantemente solo nei periodi di prolungata siccità. Evitare
assolutamente i ristagni idrici
Concimazione/Fertilization:
Filadelfio allevato in vaso, invece richiede terreni soffici e ben
pianta a svilupparsi in modo compatto e rigoglioso.
Cure/Antiparasitic
cures: Trattamenti
a prendere malattie
-------
Plant Philadelphus / Philadelphium / Angel Flower / Madonna Jasmine
Philadelphus or angel flower is a perennial deciduous shrub plant (it loses its leaves in winter) grown in the garden for ornamental purposes. It is about almost 3 m in height, with an extension up to 2 m in width, with an upright habit, with richly innervated oval-shaped leaves and numerous very fragrant white flowers.
Filadelfio is a rustic plant that is very widespread spontaneously throughout Italy and is easily grown in gardens due to the decorative aspect of the leaves and white flowers and the good scent it emits.
The very fragrant snow-white cup-shaped flowers, gathered in bunches, make their appearance in early summer, flooding the air with their intense perfume.
We recommend having Philadelphus / Angel flowers close together with Bignonia Campis with red holes to create a stunning color combination.
Cultivation of Philadelphus/Cultivation of the Philadelphus
Exposure: although the Fiore d'Angelo does not require particular environmental requirements, it grows well in sunny or semi-shady positions.
Soil/Ground: it adapts to any type of soil as long as it is well drained and rich in organic matter. We recommend flower soil + forest soil and small amounts of manure/fertilizer. To favor the growth of the plant in spring we recommend the use of organic fertilizer.
We recommend planting in autumn or early spring
Watering: the plant grown in the ground is satisfied with rainwater, in the first two years of the plant's life it is advisable to water it once a day, excluding rainy days. Irrigate abundantly only in periods of prolonged drought. Absolutely avoid waterlogging
Fertilization: in spring, fertilize the base of the Fiore d'Angelo tuft with specific fertilizers for flowering plants or with manure.
Filadelfio grown in pots, on the other hand, requires soft and well-drained soils; douching every 3 weeks; basic fertilizations with more regular liquid or slow-release products to help the plant develop in a compact and luxuriant way.
Flowering: the philadelphus or angel flower blooms in summer (from the end of May to the end of June with differences according to the area) forming dense clouds of white flowers with very fragrant yellow stamens. Excellent combination with red Bignonia Campis flowers
Mulching: While it tolerates the rigors of winter well, it is good to protect the plant at the base with a mulch of dry leaves.
Antiparasitic cures: Antiparasitic treatments for preventive purposes in spring or in any case in the pre-flowering period, although the plant is resistant and not very accustomed to catching diseases
