It's incredibly popular due to is toughness, and colour palette.

The Surface: This paving has a natural surface. Having a natural surface will mean that your patio will be ANTI-SLIP. It is worth noting that although this is a natural surface the product is still very flat and even. It is NOT a riven surface like what Sandstone is.
The Thickness: These slabs are all calibrated to a 22mm thickness, this make for much easier installation as levelling and manual lifting are a lot more efficient than similar products that are un-calibrated (varying 15mm to 25mm). About our stock
All our products are always ethically sourced and unlike other suppliers who risk purchasing from open auctions we only purchase direct from quarries who we have worked with for several years. As a result, we have many returning customers and regular landscapers that keep coming back to us. Not only are our products of such excellent quality but they all have a consistency that is essential when purchasing natural products
On average our yard contains over 15,000 sqm of stock at any one time. Within our stock we have ranges in Limestone, Sandstone, Slate, Granite and Porcelain.
We are firm believers in the saying “you get what you pay for” which is very applicable when it comes to purchasing natural stone materials. In our years of experience when a price from other suppliers seems too good to be true there will usually be a catch somewhere. These catches are usually flaky or riven paving, poor calibration and/or badly sized stock.
Also worth noting is that we have all our stock delivered from the port to our Peterborough depot, where we can check all our goods before removing any damages. A lot of supplies now operate from a port warehouse to save the cost of rent and transport, this results in their stock being loaded by third parties who have no experience in stone quality and who will NOT remove damaged slabs prior to dispatch.
