This is a reproduction Burgonet helmet with visor plus stand.  The helmet measures approx 14 inches in height with internal head measurement of approx 9 inches front to back and 8 inches width.  The visor which is separate approximately 8 inches deep and having internal width of 7 inches.  The helmet comes with internal padded skull cap and has opening ear flaps.  The visor which is separate is attached by a leather strap and has a moveable mouth piece to increase protection.  The helmet was originally silver but has been overpainted matt black and where there are moving parts some of the black has been rubbed off,

The helmet itself weighs approx 2 kilos  the visor weighs approx 1 kilo and the stand weighs another kilo.

A lovely piece of kit for re-enactment.
