THIS IS IT! For any ROTLD Fan! Another original design by me and one-of-a-kind offered now. This is a custom built Mini barrel inspired by the original Return of the Living Dead movie. Complete with Basement Diorama. As a super fan of this movie, just like yourself, I was never able to find or much less obtain a decent replica of the 2-4-5 trioxin barrel. ROTLD barrels come and go and usually less than desirable. If they are produced none seem to come with a decent basement! Seen many attempts but never in this particular size and scale. Decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own.

Overall dimensions 19" inches tall, 18" wide and 13" deep.
Army Barrel
Re-purposed mini 1 gallon beer keg. Now how neat is this. He measures 10 inches tall x 6 inches wide. Has dents, scratches and imperfections throughout. This is wear and damage that was done prior to me obtaining it and recycling it to this great final piece. Think college parties, BB gun target practice, etc., you get the idea. Minimal repair was done and intentionally left as-is prior to applying finishes to enhance the military wear appearance from being "transported" to the wrong location. A 4 -step finishing process was as follows: 1. Media blasted down to bare metal. 2. Applied 3 light coats of etching primer to bare metal. 3. Applied 3 light primer sealer over etching primer. 4. Applied final top coat with 3 light Black Matte finish coats. It is Ultra-flat and non-reflective. It is then finished off with a 3M vinyl printed corrosive sticker warning label. The barrel is free-standing and not fixed to the floor.

100% custom designed, resin casting and hand painted.
Viewing Window
Custom created wood frame and custom acrylic window cut by CNC machine. Light white smudges on the internal edges was applied along with acrylic to mimic condensation and water vapor. Both were hard-riveted together to the barrel opening and then topped off with steel caps. Permanent and non-removable.
Front stenciling
In order to match the movie's official lettering a custom designed stencil was stamped on oil board by using a 100% authentic and original military stamping machine. These type of stencils were used by the US Army during World War II and modern military equipment ranging from jeeps, airplanes, ammo cans. etc. This exact template has been applied to this mini barrel. The placement and proper application to execute it as accurate as possible was VERY DIFFICULT to achieve, but in my opinion, was well worth the extra effort. I have seen many try to capture and replicate this, and even the commercially professional produced products, and they always seem to miss the mark somehow. One of my favorite features of this build.
Basement
Built from 1 1/2" inch plywood. You read correct, it is one and a half inches thick! 100% 14-ply Pine SOLID plywood sheathing. NO paper, plastic, cardboard, or foamboard used. It is overbuilt and heavy.
Assembled with over 45 Spax Structural wood screws
Hand-cut rockface edge on floor and brick edges
Tiles edges routed directly on the surface side with 1/8" router bit.

Single color white PLA Plastic 3-printed for both can and lid. Yes, the paint lid comes off!
Rotary Wall Phone
Hand sculpted with Polymer Clay. Hardened and cured for durability. Cord made of steel wire. Phone permanetly attached and not removable.
.Final Notes: Keep in mind all the parts used for this build are CUSTOM and my own creation inspired by the movie. Although every attempt was made it is not a complete 100% copy of the original from the movie. You will be disappointed if you are seeking a carbon copy of it. If you can appreciate an individual's work of art, you will be very happy with it and proud to display. This is just my rendition version of what I was seeking to obtain. This mini barrel and diorama was made with great care and pride to result in the best top quality build. It is handmand art and any imperfections are individual artist traits and/or intentional to achieve a damaged basement. Tarman was strategically placed inside through the front opening before being sealed off. There is no cut-outs or entry way from the outside of the barrel. The matte finish was left as-is with no protective coating as to not add any sheer or gloss to the finish to avoid detracting from the overall storage appearance. Matte finishes of this type are subject to scratches and chipping if not handled carefully. This is not an indication of using poor materials or workmanship. This is NOT a toy and strictly an art piece. It is intended for adults and DISPLAY ONLY. I have disclosed and represented to best of my ability the details of this neat custom built mini tabletop barrel. Any questions please ask. This piece took a significant number of weeks to plan/build/craft and assemble. For this reason it will be the only one built and for one lucky person, the owner of this unique piece.
