Rare Chinese famille rose / verte figure of an immortal (possibly emperor); early 20th Century.
Superbly modelled detail - standing on a cloud (?), holding up an object in both hands (as an offering?) attired with long green & pink robe; iron-red & blue jacket with dragon motifs; hair coiled into a bun and with headdress & hairpin; long flowing beard over his chest; has a gold band (like chain of office) with a medallion around the neck.- possibly denoting rank
Condition: one finger is missing from right hand and two from the left; headdress has a small fragment reglued and some minor nibbles (see photos); the yellow object held across both hands has some damage to the end / tip held in the right hand - please carefully check photos as part of the description.
