Description
Released in September 2021, the Air Jordan 5 Retro PS 'Oreo' 2021 brings
back the 2013 colorway in preschool sizes. Built with nubuck, the
shoe's black upper is contrasted by semitranslucent netting on the
quarter panel, with a translucent lace lock securing the fit. The tongue
and heel add silver via Jumpman branding, with white contrast provided
by the inner lining. Underfoot, visible Air in the heel of the midsole
provides cushioning, giving way to a rubber oustole for traction.
Inspired by Michael Jordan's
continued flight status and a WWII fighter plane the Air Jordan 5 was
another custom Tinker Hatfield tinkered to perfection. With another
scoring title under his belt and a 69 point outbreak against the
Cavaliers, Jordan needed a shoe that would live up to his elevated game.
1990 proved to be a good year, Michael's aerial attack
inspired the WWII Spitfire flames on the 5s. This shoe introduced a
padded tongue displaying a continuance of the iconic jumpman logo, and a
first for clear rubber outsoles. Additionally, a plastic lace-lock,
full-grain leather and Durabuk and side vents converge to form a fighter
like shoe ready for takeoff.
