Set of 37 Viking Hnefatafl Gaming Pieces
The set comprises 12 Turreted Defending Pieces, 24 Domed Attacking Pieces and a Coin Inset King Piece. These replica Viking Gaming Pieces are based on real artefacts found at Viking sites such as Torksey and other UK sites. They are ideal as teaching aids or as part of reenactment displays. Each piece is of hollow construction and are often associated with The Winter Camps of the Viking Great Army. Each piece measure approx 20mm in diameter. It is unclear whether the game of Hnefatafl was played with a variety pieces or just two types, if you would like each attacking and defending force to be supplied as a single type then please get in touch using the appropriate code from below, we are happy to supply.
