Plastic is soft and not damaged by extreme heat or sun since it comes from a Northern car. No cracks at all in it. All mounting clips are fine. All vents work well. Any electrical components included with the trim are included for free, and are not guaranteed to be in perfect working order. There can also be dust in the vents. 

Please look carefully at the high resolution pictures, the part pictured is exactly the one that you will receive.

It's a 20+ year old part, so it has some signs of wear. Nothing major, structurally it's OK and can be installed without any trouble.
