SIZE: This belt buckle is a bit on the smaller size and measures: 1 & 5/8" in height; 2 & 1/4" in width ~ For a better idea on the size, I have also shown it next to a dime in one of the pictures, as well.
DESCRIPTION: This auction features a vintage BTS belt buckle. It is sold brass and bears what I believe to be either a agate or jasper stone on the front. This is an oval inset in the rectangular shape of the buckle itself. It is a bit on the smaller side and may have originally been intended for a woman or a child. The back is marked as follows: "c.1978 BTS, Solid Brass, BTS, Made in USA." It really does have a very classic look to it. Please do view the pictures as a part of the overall description, as I do feel they are extension to this desciption. CONDITION: FAIR ~ I am considering the age and use of this item when factoring the condition rating. This belt buckle appears to be in Fair condition for the age and use. As would be expected with something of this age, there is some minor usage wear seen -- mostly in the form of minor surface scratches. These are mostly localized to the back, though. There is some minor soiling and wear seen to the brass metal, as well. I suspect most of this is likely age / storage wear, and may be polished quite well. I suspect the same likely goes for the jasper or agate stone, as well. I will leave any cleaning or polishing to the new owner, though. Other than what is mentioned above, I do not see any other major issues with this piece. With age and use considered, I would still say this belt buckle rates in Fair condition overall.

On nearly all of my items, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return it for a full refund within two weeks (14 days) from the day it was received. Return shipping will be paid by the buyer, though. In certain cases, I may sell an item for a close friend of family member that does not belong to me. Those are usually the only instances that I do not allow returns. I figure, if the item does not belong to me, I should allow that decision to be made by the person who does own it.
