Perhaps this summer you can't make it to Martha's Vineyard...but hey...you can create a cottage chic handbag to sport around town as your ode to Martha...this print has always reminded me of that certain look of summer on the cape...white picket fences with cluster roses growing into massive vines that top the roofs of old homes...it is something special for growing roses on the cape...a romanticism and old soul spirit that embodies both the destination and 1930's fabric...
This offering is for ONE small but powerfully sweet remnant of a vintage textured barkcloth from the 1930's...a crisp clean white...this is a remnant cut from a drapery that went unused...and is left over from that project...I throw nothing away...I am a scrap and even thread hoarded...admittedly...proud...yes proud :) beautiful roses in purple burgundies and pinks...chartreuse...lemon...citron lime...varied shades of grays...with foliage in spectacular eye catching mint...jadeite and emerald turquoise green...chocolate brown...complete the colorway of this relic from days past. Measures 23 inches wide x 22 inches long...washed...clean and in brand new relatively unused condition.
