Here's another gorgeous Suhr Standard Legacy!  It's based on the original guitar that John Suhr built for himself in the 80s. The guitar is stunningly beautiful and oozes of high-quality and meticulous attention to detail.

It's a hot-rodded shredder's dream through and through. The neck is slim, the fretwork and overall construction allow for freakishly low action, and the tone is absolutely incendiary. The EMG active pickups absolutely wail and they're going to be thoroughly rock-ready. But don't worry, they aren't one-trick ponies by any stretch of the imagination either. You can dial them back and get some really nice clean tones as well.

Everything you'd expect out of a hand-made and high-end Suhr guitar is abundantly present in this one.

Details

Based on a legendary guitar, the Standard Legacy is the first guitar designed and built by John Suhr for himself in 1984. The Suhr Standard Legacy starts with our Standard body shape with an African Okoume body, figured Maple Top with scraped binding, a Maple neck, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, with a gloss-black headstock, EMG SA’s in the neck and middle positions, an EMG 85 in the bridge and gold hardware. Introducing the Standard Legacy Limited Edition featuring five beautiful finishes: Trans Carmel, Aged Cherry Burst, Black, and new Pelham Blue and Suhr Burst.
