Black Beauty - 20+ Eggplant Seeds

'Black Beauty' is a heavy cropping almost bell shaped eggplant growing to around 160mm

When ripe the medium skinned fruit with a slight ribbing are a deep purple colour with a white flesh and great flavour.

Although a compact plant it will benefit from some staking due to its generous yeilds

The fruit is ready for harvest around 70-85 days after planting

Best results when seed is started in punnets and seedlings transplanted to final location

Growing Instructions

Sow seeds approximately 5mm deep

Prefers Sunny position

Spacing - 70cm between plants

Will grow well in most free draining soil types

Will grow best when soil is kept moist

Keep soil moist but avoid over watering

Sow - Spring through Autumn (after Last Frost)

Can be grown all year round in warmer climates

Germination - 7-10 days. (Soil Temp- 10-30 degrees)
