A beautiful and colorful map from the Mitchell General Atlas, published in 1849. This map of North America has great presence and nice original hand coloring! The map itself is set within a separately engraved and ornate border. A wonderful and curious map - would look tremendous framed and hung on a wall!
Condition:
Overall, very good condition. The map has typical wear commensurate with age - minor toning and staining (exactly as pictured!).
