American Performer Telecaster
Manufactured at the Corona factory in California, the American Performer Telecaster features the authentic tone and feel of a USA-made Fender, as well as modern specs that inspire performance and take it to a new dimension.
This model is equipped with two Yosemite(TM) single-coil pickups that were developed specifically for the American Performer series and produce rich, expressive tones.
The Yosemite (TM) pickup has a staggered pole piece without chamfers that achieves high output.The front pickup is potted with shellac solution and the rear pickup is potted with wax to effectively suppress feedback while making it dynamic. It plays a great sound.
The American Performer Telecaster is also equipped with a Greasebucket(TM) tone circuit that simultaneously attenuates the low range by an appropriate amount when narrowing down the tone, preventing the sound from becoming muddy. The Modern C-shaped neck has a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets for smooth and precise bending.
