An exceptional platinum Art Deco Engagement Ring dating to the 1920s set with  diamonds and earth mined sapphires.

This early Art Deco Engagement Ring is custom made The large fine white diamond at the center of the ring is set with a luxurious diamond border that makes it seem even larger than it is. There are beautiful sapphire accent stones in vivid dark blue which look like ribbons. The sapphires add just the right amount of highlights so that the gorgeous diamonds appear to jump out at you from the setting. They are quite dazzling to look at.

This super ring is feminine, timeless and very sophisticated.

It is in good antique condition and is ready to gift or to wear.

In total it weighs 3.59 grams.

The central diamond is a beautiful 1.02 carat diamond, VS1, J, measuring 6.45mm- 6.42mm x 3.92mm, excellent cut. Weight estimated in the setting.

There are 0.43 carats of H/I color VS clarity accent diamonds.
 
The eight channel set natural blue sapphires are rectangular modified brilliant cut approximate total weight 0.20 carats, clarity eye clean, type II, strong blue color, excellent cut. The Sapphires are French cut.

This makes the total weight of fine diamonds is 1.45 carats.

The total diamond and sapphire weight is 1.65 carats.

When this ring is on it runs 7/16" down the finger (11.25mm).

This exquisite ring is a size 8 3/4 US.
