Alan Clive Grosvenor (1925-2012)

Landscape Painter, Known as the Artist of the Snowy Mountains

Born in Sydney 1925, later lived and worked in Monaro District in ACT, died in Cooma Hospital in 2012

Studied Art in Sydney and England

In Sydney, he studied with Reginald Henry Jerrold-Nathan (1899-1979) and Geoffrey Townshend (1888-1969)

In London, He studied at R.A.S

He lived and Painted in Snowy Mountains Since 1960 and Numerous solo exhibitions

Later opened his Studio and Gallery in East Jindabyne, Snowy Mountains

After his death, Gallery is transformed as Kunam Snowy Mountains Center for Arts, there is a Permanent exhibition of Alan Grosvenor's Work there
