Condition: The uppers on these shoes are in excellent condition. The lining on these shoes is also in excellent condition. Here are the issues: Ideally, these shoes need new full soles and heels. The heels have a lot of wear, and some the nails are protruding into the footbed in the heel area. So, they were either driven into the heels without the use of a metal last or, they should have been driven into the heels using a tack hammer and ring shank nails from inside the shoes. These shoes were half soled at some point, and the thickness of the half sole leather doesn't match the thickness of the original part of the soles. These shoes certainly have the potential to be fantastic looking, and would give you years of enjoyment if properly cared for.
