The painting is an original work of Orville Salway, Jr., an Ogala Sioux known as Paha Ska which means 'White Hills'.  Paha Ska was a talented artisan who was the official greeter of Keystone, South Dakota, for over 50 years  He passed in 2005.  The skin is signed on rabbit skin hide using natural dyes as Paha Ska did to keep his art authentic. The Ogala artwork is painted on a rabbit skin and hung on a Lakota arrow, making it a rare Sioux tribal combined, collectible item.
