The book is in very good plus condition. Minor wear to the top and bottom edges of the textblock. Textblock is bright and well preserved. Dust jacket is in very good condition. Moderate creasing and chipping to the spine ends, and with creasing present at the top of the front panel. General surface wear and minor scratching evident. Original $2.50 price is present on the front flap.

The book follows Harry Morgan, a fishing boat captain out of Key West, Florida. To Have and Have Not was Hemingway's second novel set in the United States, after The Torrents of Spring.
