For sale used.  Mahogany (possibly) sewing table.  Really sweet item, some patina and wear, commensurate with age.  Possibly 1890s or so.   Lovely draw.  Crossed support near base.

The lid was originally on some sort of swivel mechanism.  Underside of lid is heavily marked with concentric circles.

There are 2 deep cracks on surface of both sides where the wood meets.   

I enclose a hinge that could be used.

I had planned to do some sanding and filling to the lid and to cut it down flush to the same dimensions as the box.

Could make a lovely bedside table.
