Hand sewn & designed Elk leather Cherokee Style Bag with Beaver hair/ fur sewn on flap of the bag, with the flap measuring approx. 6" long by 6" wide.. Bag measures approx. 8" long with an additional approx. 8 " with the unique hand twisted fringe and 1" brass tins,glass and brass beads by approx. 6" wide, comes with a approx. 24" (48" total) braided leather strap. Leather fringe hangs from the beaded strap and glass,brass beads and tins are added. The center of the flap of the bag is leather tie with glass crow & brass beads and 1" brass tins.

The Elk leather is suede on both sides. 

I call these my Critter bags.

Please Note: We do not hunt, I buy these furs from trappers or I buy Refurbished fur coats and use the furs to make something beautiful to honor the animal of the pelt I am using. All furs and pelts are smudged when I get them, and then again after I have finished making the bag, shirt or what ever in their honor.

Glass Beads:

Dark Green: Serious Healing, Positive Turning Point, Optimism, Love & Trust.

Tins/Brass Beads: Drive Away Bad Thoughts, Feelings & Spirits. 

Small amount of sage is placed inside, and the bag has been cleansed with sage to bring peace to you and your family.

A story card comes with bag explaining the meanings of all items used.

I scanned a piece of leather to show the color of the leather a little better, this color is called Willow to me it looks more of a dark tan.
