This auction is for the 1:6 scale ‘Real Action Figure’ of Reika from Gantz Oku Hiroya Works, as produced by Medicom Toys.  The box interior indicates this is figure # 576 of the Real Action Heroes line of playscale figures.  This character whose full name, Reika Shimohira, is a fellow combatant and enamored with the protagonist hero, Kei Kurono, from the Japanese manga and subsequent anime series, Gantz , designed by creator Hiroya Oku beginning in 2000.  The doll comes to you in MIB (Mint in Box) condition, displayed briefly by an adult collector in my own family.  At most, the figure may have a slight amount of dust. 

 

The Beautiful Reika figure herself, with her long black hair and dressed fully from the neck down in a black second-skin like full combat suit looks absolutely amazing if not a bit kinky.  The full contents, including THREE extra hands, and FOUR weapons—the Gantz Sword, the X-Shotgun, the X-Gun and Y-Guns (named for their distinctive shapes)—plus the original polybagged posing stand with instructions are all included.

 

Although, technically used, the figure and accessories are pretty much MINT and virtually unused.  Any possible flaws are from the factory.  This figure has not seen the light of day after close to a decade in storage.  I see NO signs of deterioration as yet, so common with Medicom’s preferred use of vinyl costuming for their figures.

  

The box with its stylized printing and coloring features a range of matte to glossy finishes, with only minimal marks from typical shelf wear.  The bottom factory sealing tab is fully intact, the top broken to remove the figure as noted.  No dents, creases or impact marks.  A single scratch over the glossy “accessories” panel appears on the back of the box, as the only notable flaw, but I make note of it here for total disclosure.  It doesn’t distract from displaying the box in the slightest way, IMHO.
