Gibson USA / 80s Flying V Ebony Gibson Flying V [S/N 215330102]

Gibson 2023 NEW model! Equipped with 80s Tribute pickup!

The Gibson Flying V is a highly iconic design for modern guitarists.
First introduced in 1958, it grew in popularity over the next few decades, especially among hard rock and metal guitarists. Especially in the 1980s, this model became a real hit.

The Gibson 80s Flying V is based on the highly popular 1984 model. It features a slim taper mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard, making it suitable for technical playing.
The iconic mahogany body is equipped with a new 80s Tribute pickup that faithfully reproduces the fat tone and rich sustain characteristic of the model at the time.

○80's Tribute Pickup
Alnico V magnets are used because they have a warmer tone than ceramic magnets, higher touch sensitivity than Alnico II, III, and IV magnets, and a good balance between output and sound quality characteristics.
This pickup was developed to reproduce his 80's hard rock sound.
The bridge pickup provides high output and tight response when playing at high gain, and the neck pickup provides a clear, tight voice when playing at high gain.
