Offered is a selection consisting of one vintage Black Glass Half bottle dating between 1860s and 1870s or so. The lot includes:

1)—A 5 3/4" tall, black glass liquor bottle, two piece mold manufacture style, having a refired sheared lip with crudely applied ribbon ring below. Color could be described as a medium greenish moss brown. Bottom has a pebbled, offset texture, slight offset shoulder, multi colored mirror ground patina. Similar in appearance to the Champagne Splits bottle, except a later copy, for its appearance and half size to the other. Acquired from an old collection of New Orleans dug bottles, most likely European in origin.
