Antique Wedgwood, Majolica Platter or Bread Tray as it is referred to by the company. This 150 year old piece is a stunning example of majolica with its saline motif and bright array of colorful glazes. These photos are not overly enhanced the colors truly are rich and vibrant. Rectangular tray modeled with two large scallop shells on a bed of turquoise waves and brown/green seaweed. Unique apron feature with edge to edge seashells bordering the tray in a deep slate blue and edged in a gold rope design. Slightly raised rim as well. Made in England by the Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Co. 13" x 10".  There are some chips and crazing as shown in the close up photos. No cracks. Reasonable offers will be considered. Happy Bidding!
