This kit has been a long time coming but it's finally finished. The PDF that I have written for this was dated July 2021 before I added the cover picture so it's well overdue.

This has been specifically designed for revision 1.5 but should work for older revisions as well.

The kit contains:

All ceramic capacitors*, 177 in all.

All resistors, 310 in all.

NPN 2N3904 X1 (+2)

PNP 2N3906 X26 (+3)

1N914 X7.

MPF102 X8.

1N4001 X8.

4.3 volt voltage detector X1

LF1 (Line Filter) X4

FB X4

FB200 X9

0805 LEDs (Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow and White) 10 of each colour.

57 pre-labelled bags including empty ones for you to decant the components into if you prefer to remove them from the tape. Components are also individually labelled.

*DOES NOT include ceramics to substitute for electrolytic/polymer capacitors, as it’s not recommended (or supported). It even says so on the board!

Originally, this was just going to be a simple capacitor and resistor kit but it grew as I started making lists and grouping things together and ended up including the actives as well as the ferrites and optional LEDs, basically all the small stuff or as John Hertell calls them, Birdseed.

The other groups of parts are as follows:

Chips (Logic and custom),

Sockets & headers, Dsubs etc.

Electrolytic or polymer capacitors,

Timing kit (crystals, resonator and trimmer cap), I sell both NTSC & PAL kits in my other listings.

PDF:

I highly recommend reading the pdf I created for this kit as it gives you loads of information and links to John Hertell's WordPress site where he goes through building a ReAmiga board with tests at each stage of the build as well as explaining how to configure the new features that he added. I also give details on features that were left blank.

Fun fact: as well little messages that John put on the silkscreen, there's hidden messages as well. In the slot of the PCMCIA if you shine a torch from underneath there are two "secret" messages :)

Buyers outside the UK:

I use eBay's Global Shipping Programme (GSP) for international sales and I have no control over what they charge for postage. How it works is I send the package to their warehouse in England and they relabel the package with the customers full details and it gets sent on to its final destination. I receive my standard UK postage costs and the rest of what you are charged goes to GSP. I don't get to see how much the customer is charged for international shipping, it appears to me as a normal UK sale but marked as "international sale through the Global Shipping Programme"
