Showing a 5 pretty young college co eds women from the Brockport State Normal School in Brockport, New York.  The house in the background can be identified as 54 Spring Street, Brockport, New York. The young ladies are identified as Dorothy "Dot" M. Clink of Rochester, Esther Ordoyne, Doris Bird, Rita Barry, and Beulah Grover.


From a collection of 5 family photo albums of Mrs. Ethel Mae Southwick Anderson, (1919-2011), originally of Rochester, New York. She attended East High School in Rochester, class of 1936. She later attended the Brockport State Normal School in Brockport, New York, which is now part of SUNY. Later she married Carl Nathaniel Anderson, and had 3 children, living then in Fairport, New York. Sister of Jeanette Southwick Stallman. Daughter of Hazel Weller Southwick and Allen Southwick. She was a teacher for many years in the Rochester area.

(Note: any pencil inscriptions on the back of the photo are my notes based on what was written in the photo album next to the picture, as well as online research on the subject of the photo.)
