1949 - 1952 Ford truck water pumps. Original wide belt design. All new castings with many internal improvements. Increased pump shaft diameter from 1/2" to 5/8" with double row ball bearings. Modern ceramic shaft seals, and an improved new impeller design with 8 helical impellers apposed to the original 6 straight impellers for better coolant flow at all RPM's Ford design.  These are the pumps you want when using a 1949 -1953 Ford flathead V8 in a 1932 -1948 Ford frame. they have the same motor mount locations as the 37 - 48 V8s. Drake's pumps have been redesigned for performance and maximum coolant flow. There maybe less expensive water pump sets available, but they don’t have the improvements and quality of the Bob Drake pumps.
