This vintage Muppet Babies book is a must-have for fans of the beloved children's franchise.
The illustrator Tom Brannon has art that looks very much like the original Muppet Babies TV show. If you're nostalgic for the show, the art and the plot reads a lot like one of the episodes. It fits well with the theme.

Do note the wear on the spine from use. Fortunately (unlike many others) this book has not been scribbled or written in by kids so it's a good opportunity to get one that's in decent shape for the age.

Published in 1988 by Muppet Press and written by Joanne Barkan, it features the story of Baby Kermit & his old blanket during the time of spring cleaning. This one actually has a fantastic lesson in it for kids AND adults because it shows how to healthfully let go of things you don't need AND don't care about, while keeping those that you do. Notice how Nanny doesn't pressure the kids to dispose of their old things & everyone makes the right decision.

The hardcover format and English language make it a great addition to your 1980s franchises book collection.
While its intended audience of ages 2-3 and under 2 years ensures that it will captivate the youngest readers and introduce a new generation to the charm of Muppet Babies. With its charming narrative style and fun illustrations, Baby Kermit Old Blanket is perfect for parents and children to read together. (As "Weekly Reader" knew in the 80s) Whether you're a collector of vintage children's books or simply looking for a new bedtime story, this book is sure to delight. Don't miss out on the chance to add this classic to your library!
