This is a Burnt Bronze Pentax K1000 in excellent conditions, made fully of metal. It is my first painted camera on sale as I am are finally reasonably happy with the result and process, though some details can still improve.

This sample has been painted with a oven-cured ceramic finish after being stripped of all chrome. The paint is highly resistant.

Details has been touched manually with light azure paint.

The leatherette have been replaced with genuine cowhide cut-to-measure coverings.

The shutter work and the times change, and they fire cleanly. No hesitation on slow times

The light meter works and it shows values in line with the other cameras I use. At 1 second and B it tanks down, I likely due to testing in low light - i have seen spotmatics doing the same.

The camera is fully working. Some caution is advise in handling the lens release button (fully functional anyway and no issue is forecast in normal operations).

The serial number is 8440195. top and bottom case are made of metal (they went in the oven at high temps, too).
