This is a Black Tweed Jacket by Aubin & Wills. It is a very proper British jacket.
It is a UK size 12 which translates into a USA size 8.
MEASUREMENTS:
Laid flat. Measuring across the back
from Underarm to underarm = 18"
Arm length from shoulder seam to end = 24"
Length from shoulder seam to hem is 24"
There is a slit in the back. It is lined on the top and on the sleeves. Lightly padded shoulders.
I purchased it in a Vintage shop in London. The fabric has only a few pills on the sleeves
It is made in Portugal. The fabric is 45% Linen, 44% Wool and 11% Nylon.
There are 6 buttons showing in the front and a hidden button in front that actually closes the jacket.
This is a basic career blazer, to wear for work, to the office. It has a lot of life left in it.This would make a perfect equestrian, Kentucky horse womans jacket, riding, mucking, tack.
Wear a British style blazer.
My
measurements, to help you on this, are 34 x 25 x 35 and I am 5'4" and I
wear a size Small and you can see it is too big on me.This will be mailed inside a plastic bag/envelope.
