PIEDFORT coins are TWICE thickness of normal coins and not often minted. Hence Twice the weight & Rarely Minted too. The 4 x GBP1 coins measure 6mm (3/16" Minimum Thick) and are really chunky. I have tried to capture thickness in one of the scans.
