CANADA 1996 ALPINE SKI COAT [TEAM ISSUE] by DESCENTE

Description: An absolute classic of the 1990s skiing fashion. Descente was a supplier of the Canadian ski team at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. Similar design had been worn by Ed Podivinsky at the Men’s downhill award ceremony where he won a bronze medal. The company logo depicts 3 basic skiing techniques – traverse, schuss and side-slip.

Team issue features: 
Stitched Canada Team motif to the back and chest. Warsteiner sponsor logo stitched to the chest. Made in Japan. Design commercially not available to this specification. Comes from a private collection.

Condition: Coat has been professionally cleaned. Bright colours, badges are stitched, inner lining is superb, original working zippers, smooth material feel. Coat is in excellent wearable/collectible condition (10/10).
