This listing is for an unpopulated, brand new custom motherboard for the Game Boy Color (GBC) that fits in a Game Boy Pocket (GBP) shell.

You will need a donor GBC board to move the components over from. This can be built entirely from a donor board, or many of the parts that are still produced can be purchased new from Mouser, though some parts like the CPU and audio chip are no longer manufactured. If using regular batteries, you will need to acquire GBP battery contacts. A BOM (bill of materials) for new components, along with additional information about this board can be found here:

This is a version 2 board, and has support for an optional navigation switch for replacing the touch sensors on your IPS kit (designed with the HISPEEDIDO Super OSD kit in mind). The SparkFun navigation switch is not included, but can be purchased from Mouser and many other places:

This is a great way to build a unique project or to save a heavily damaged GBC console. I have built this project and can confirm it works great. The designer is a German modder who goes by N64-Freak.

Advanced soldering skills will be need to complete this project. Returns not accepted. Only the unpopulated motherboard is included. The picture of the completed project is just for reference.
