Fully Hallmarked Sterling Silver Victorian Tape Measure for Chatelaine

Offering an antique Victorian sterling silver tape measure suitable for a sewing chatelaine.
The  exterior of the tape measure is in excellent condition and the rim is fully hallmarked OB (Ollivant & Bottsford) with a lion passant (sterling silver), a leopard's head (London) and the letter P (1890). There are no dents, dings or otherwise.
Within is the original silk tape measure that has been hand painted onto the silk.
It is extremely thin and I have never pulled it all of the way out, so I don't know how long it is.
There is a small handle with a crank for pulling out the tape and is also has the marks for London, 1890.
It measures approximately 1.5 inches in diameter and is just under 3/4 inch in depth.
The total weight is 29.4 grams, just under 1 ounce of silver.

Wonderful item for a collector and presents beautifully on a chatelaine!
It could also be attached to a chain and worn around the neck to make for a very interesting conversation piece.

Please look closely at the photos since they are also part of the description.
