Item Description
It is with meticulous attention to detail that Shape has designed this baseplate specifically for the Sony FS5 Camera. Crafted to be compact and lightweight, this baseplate is the ideal companion for your camera, ensuring stability and ease of use. The package includes one (1) 1/4-20 and one (1) 3/8-16 captive screw, designed to secure the camera's position, preventing any unwanted movement or rotation.
The top of the baseplate features strategically placed rubber pads, providing a cushion between the camera and the aluminum baseplate, further enhancing the stability and protection of your camera. This baseplate is designed to accommodate standard 15mm rods, which are securely fastened with a distinctive red ratchet knob screw.
For additional mounting options, the baseplate is equipped with 1/4-20 threaded holes on the side. To facilitate the attachment of a tripod plate, Shape has incorporated four (4) 1/4-20 and two (2) 3/8-16 threaded holes under the baseplate.
In a bid to minimize the weight of the baseplate, Shape has skillfully removed excess aluminum from the bottom of the plate during the machining process. The baseplate also features a removable support bracket for a METABONES adapter (FS5MA), designed to support the weight and alleviate stress on the camera lens mount. This bracket, which is fixed with two screws at the front of the baseplate, can be easily removed when not in use.
For precise positioning, the bracket is designed with a 3mm vertical adjustment, ensuring optimal support. The baseplate package includes a set of 15mm 10-inch rods, making it perfect for drone and gimbal applications.

Returns

TVs and monitors 20" and higher: Upon delivery, please inspect the TV and insure that it is not physically damaged and in operable condition. DO NOT SIGN the delivery manifest until you have inspected the TV. Once you sign for the item, you are signing acceptance of the product as is. If the merchandise is damaged, please make the notation on the delivery manifest, and have the person delivering the merchandise sign as a witness to the damages and contact us immediately to report the damage.
Notebooks, Netbooks, Tablets, iPads and Computers Sold in NEW condition cannot be returned or exchanged once opened.
