*THREE*  Brass Washer for size #12 HOBART meat grinders

 Brass washes for meat grinder augers.  This is made for Hobart, meat grinder augers.  Will fit your auger if it has the 1/2" square end.  Fits Hobart models 4212,4812,8812,8612,4612 and more.  A washer is necessary on the end of the auger before placing it into the cylinder.  The washer serves to absorb heat and reduce friction when the auger spins. 

This is a common #12 size.

Washers are necessary at the drive end of square tip augers in many models of grinders including ALL Hobarts.  The washer reduces heat build up and keeps a tighter fit between the knife and plate.  If you are experiencing "minced" meat, you may need to replace your washer.  NOTE:  These washers fit Hobart size #12 meat grinders and may fit others but measure before purchasing.  The diameter of your auger stem should be 18.5 mm or smaller for this washer to work with your grinder.
