This beautiful classic low 203 easy chair & matching footstool has undergone a full refurbishment in our workshop.

 The solid beech frames stripped & sanded back to its original factory raw state, all lacquer and blemishes removed prior to a deep clean.

 Polyx wax clear satin oil applied, providing a hard wearing protective finish. The Osmo polyx is considered the best on the market for longevity and grain enhancement.

The webbing has been replaced using the original Ercol method of pirelli rubber & wooden dowels, providing a firm but excellent sprung base.

All the foam inserts replaced with fire retardant firm foam, together with a matching two tone scatter in the famous Orla kiely design. The cushions have professionally Upholstered in a John Lewis - "Stanton Putty "  textured fabric, transforming this unique stand out a  modern piece !

These classic chairs were produced using the finest timbers, crafted by highly skilled operatives made to last for decades. There is no modern comparison in terms of timber quality & craftsmanship.

As with all restored furniture, there will be signs of previous usage.
