Vintage Mid Century Modern turned LIGUM-VITAE wood Vase and matching frog insert.

Made of LIGUM-VITAE wood of life. it extremely hard wood also known as palo santo, guayacan, and holy wood. The name means "tree of life" which was given for its medicinal properties.

This Unique Vase is Signed on the bottom. (Provenance)

Designed by Arthur Brown, Steer Town P.A. and carved in Jamaica. It was dedicated to Pauline and Elmer, 1978 Wisconsin.  

The vase has a Round 19-hole wooden frog, made to fit this vase. Perfect for dry flowers- don’t recommend using water.

This is a limited design, One of a Kind, exclusive Item, and a beautiful one at that. 

It is 7” tall x 6” across the widest part, 5.50” across the rim x 5 1/8” across the base.  

Unboxed weighs 3.75 lbs.
