It appears to have been crafted in the mid to late 1800's. Though the manufacturer is not known, nor if it was ever worn by anyone, it was unearthed (~15 years ago) along the Ten Mile River by Mason Field in Attleboro Falls which at the time of manufacture was the hub of jewelry manufacturing in the United States, known as the jewelry capital of the world. It was at a location that appeared to have been dredged from the river on the field side where Babe Ruth once played. Across the river are/were remnants of a foundation, sunken into the swampy earth.
