Barkcloth and the.era textiles weren't just fabulous and a testament to a wash and wear world of the machine age and mass production...it was also highly educational...why one repeat could do a whole show and tell story in class...especially these ornately pictured fun scenes of the day in the life of a Mexican Street Fair or Fiesta. Today these prized rare relics as fun and whacky as they are...serve as proud examples of a heritage...but also of a lineage and strength of cotton decorator fabrics that were built as tough as you can imagine...for they are here still right in front of me today...to tell this story.

This offering is for ONE used and washed partially deconstructed drapery panel..I have washed it and ironed it back to perfection...it has a original hem on one side I left in tact for seam allowances when you make a pillow...a bright white ground of a very rare...cultural...educational and collectible mid century take on a day in the life of Mexico. The scenes are overwhelming with the powerful use of bold colors...tons of purples...deep raspberry...chartreuse...yellow...crazy electric limes...grassy lime.  A designer and collectors delight. Expect flawless. Measures 23 inches wide x 31 inches long. While it was made into a curtain...it didn't get much use as the colors and condition boast about a barely used textile ready for it's debut in it's next life. Flawless. I have another 3 more also available sold individually.

I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help. With that said...of course I will take a return...I'm just hoping more the pricing will WOW YA over wanting to return it :) Here is to a summer of fabulous Florida Finds. :)
