Vintage ~Shenk Bros.~ Black Wool Varsity Cardigan Sweater.
from the 1950's to early 1960's.
Black, Wool Knit Cardigan Sweater. Button front, with
lower Pockets. Large, Gold 'M' Chenille Varsity letter patch
above left pocket. Sweater is in very nice condition overall.
*1 very small, minor 'mothbite' spot at lower, left sleeve (see close-ups)
hardly noticeable & the only minor flaw.
Tag Reads: 'Shenk Bros. , Everything for Sport' Lancaster, PA.
Size: No Size Tag intact *Be sure to see measurements below
Measurements:
Underarm to Underarm (across front): approx. 18" to 18 1/2" unstretched
Shoulder to Shoulder (across front): 18 1/2"
Length (From Back Collar/Bottom-seam to Bottom): 30"
Sleeve Length (Shoulder Top-seam to Cuff end): approx. 24 1/2" *unrolled
