Victorian 9K Gold and Black Onyx Mourning Pendant with "Tear" and monogrammed on reverse side.  Circa 1855, possibly 9 karat yellow gold and front of pendant is Onyx.  There is no marking for 9k but this was indicated from dealer I purchased years ago.  The gold leaf decorated with a "Tear" seed pearl in the center.  The pearl in mourning jewelry means a "Tear".  The pendant is engraved on back side with an "EL".  Size 7/8" including the bale.  The chain measures 19" and has markings JaneCraft .925 and Italy.   In good condition and can be worn.  Please ask any questions and see photos for condition.
