This lot is a Trix Express 3 Rail  DB 0-4-0 Tank Locomotive No. 20 0 54 . This is a re-listing as I know believe that this loco may have an A/C motor. I previously wrote 'The motor has some life in it and I have been able to make it turn a couple of times but is not running' . These comments were made after testing the loco with 12V DC. Silly me - of course if the loco is A/C then it will not run on DC. However, I repeat again that there is liffe in this loco and you Trix A/C afficionados willl be able to look at the pictures and confirm if indeed it is an A/C motor - then you make your choice about buying as you can see that the motor is in very clean condition.
My other comments, as below, still apply
The first point to note is that the front buffer beam has broken away from the die-cast body - probably as a result of a drop - see image 7. The break appears clean and the buffer beam is in one piece so that it should be possible to bond the two parts together with barely a  sign of a crack  see image 8 where I have married up the two parts. There are no cylinders or moving parts associated with this break, so once repaired it would not be subject to stress on your layout.
Other items to note: One of the driving/cylinder rods and screw are missing - left side.

Happy to answer questions where I can and please do not bid unless you are clear what it is that you are buying
